08:00 – Pick-Up & Transfer to Trailhead (from Ketama or surrounding villages)
Start the day early with pickup from your accommodation and a scenic drive to the base of Mount Tidghine.

 

09:00 – Begin the Hike
Meet your local mountain guide and start the ascent through cedar forests, wild herb fields, and panoramic valleys. Learn about the unique flora, fauna, and rural mountain life along the way.

 

11:30 – Mid-Hike Break
Pause at a natural lookout point with sweeping views of the Rif. Refresh with tea, fruit, and light snacks provided by your guide.

 

13:00 – Reach the Summit
Arrive at the summit of Mount Tidghine. Take in breathtaking 360° views of the surrounding mountain ranges, villages, and the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.

 

13:30 – Picnic Lunch at Altitude
Enjoy a traditional Rif-style picnic prepared with fresh local ingredients.

 

14:30 – Descent Begins
Take a different route down, offering new perspectives and encounters with local shepherds, wildlife, and hidden springs.

 

17:00 – Return to Trailhead & Transfer Back
End the hike at the trailhead where your driver awaits. Transfer back to your accommodation or drop-off point.

Why is the departure city unknown?
Due to the rough location of Mount Tidghine, it is very difficult for us to pick up our guests from the big cities. That's why we recommend our guests to rally at Ketama for the pick up. For more information about transportation and/or pick-ups you can always contact us.
